Eight Below is a movie based on a true story about dogs in Antartica.
Paul Walker stars as the lead in this film. Walker is a guide at a NSF
base and with his team of sled dogs and a scientist, he heads to Mt.
Melbourne to get a precious rock. When they get back to the station,
they encounter a very bad storm. The dogs were all tied up at posts
because there were no room to take them. It turns out that the dogs
would defy death at all odds during their many months in the harsh
winter. This film is very good and very emotional. There is a chance
that you might be crying in this film if you ever saw this. The music
was decent. The acting wasn't the best, but who cares. They did a
decent enough job. The dogs were the main "actors". Unfortunately, two
died over the course of the movie. If you ever get a chance, this movie
should be seen but have tissues at the hand. Small children should not
see this film because it's a bit too scary.
